Leadership and Organization at Louisville Catholic Schools

Our Schools are organized under the umbrella of the Office of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville. The Archdiocese is led by the Most Reverend Shelton J. Fabre, Archbishop of Louisville, and the Office of Catholic Schools is headed by Superintendent Dr. Mary Beth Bowling.

Archbishop Fabre

Archbishop Fabre oversees all Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville and recognizes local parish and school autonomy in making decisions at the local level in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Louisville.

Superintendent

The Superintendent of Schools provides overall leadership, direction, and support to Catholic schools in collaboration with archdiocesan staff, pastors, school leaders, and other stakeholders. The Superintendent is responsible for the formulation, promulgation, and interpretation of policies pertaining to the operation of Catholic Schools and oversees compliance with those policies.
