Many thanks to Devin and Laurie for working several hot and rainy days at their fireworks tents at O'Bryan Farm Equipment and at Wal-Mart to raise money for St. Catherine Academy! $1,000 will be donated to the school. Thanks so much! This will help us replace 1 more of our old rickety water fountains with a new one that has a sanitary, bottle-filling feature. ... See MoreSee Less

As we prepare for the start of school on August 4, thank goodness, we are acquiring the necessary supplies to help us adhere to the state guidelines for opening safely. We have received some federal grant money to help with a lot of these purchases; hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, staff face masks, Chromebooks for online learning readiness, etc. One item that would be very beneficial to have, that would help with limiting surface contact, is a water fountain with a water bottle refill station. This would allow students to refill water bottles instead of drinking from the fountain. The only thing keeping us from ordering them is that they are just so expensive. Having at least one of these in the building would really help with sanitation now during COVID-19, as well as each year during flu season. If you or your company would be interested in donating money for new fountains, we would greatly appreciate it. The cost is just over $1,000 per fountain. Contact Stacie Mudd, our business manager, at 502-549-3680 to arrange a donation. ... See MoreSee Less
